Late 19th Century Masonic Ceremonial Sword

Item Details

A late 19th century Masonic ceremonial sword. This sword includes a silver tone and gold tone plate with ornate etched and engraved detailing throughout and lettering which reads ‘A.F. Dick Roy’ and ‘Henderson Kalamazoo, Michigan’. The crossguard includes an attached chainlink which connects to the knight’s helmet shaped pommel and features a crown with cross ornamentation. The scarab is silver tone with similar ornate detailing throughout and two attached rings to its sides.

Condition

- tarnish throughout; dirt residue; paint splatter; scratched throughout; portion of red cross is chipped; fading of red lacquer.
