An original large antique oil painting on canvas by very well-listed Spanish portrait painter Antonio Torres Fuster (1874 – 1945). The painting depicts a stunning vision of a young woman wearing a sheer white blouse, crimson floral crown, and brightly-patterned skirt as she sits in a picturesque garden. She holds an ornate feathered fan in one hand, and gazes out towards a landscape illuminated in fields of yellow, orange, and blue light. A fountain ripples near a tuft of shadowy trees in the background. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented behind glass in a stunning antique wooden frame with cast high-relief surface embellishments, seamless corners, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. A small plaque attached to the frame’s vase gives the artist’s name. More information can be found below under Additional Information.
