Egyptian-Style Doors With Decorative Iron Grates

Item Details

A pair of antique Egyptian-style doors. Each of these wooden doors features an oval window with an iron grate in a scroll motif. Behind each grate is a hinged panel with a rectangular opening in the center. The lower halves of the doors are decorated with a tiered geometric design which is highest in the center where the doors meet. These pieces have no apparent maker’s marks.
