Stitt (Philadelphia: P. Blakiston’s Son & Co., 1920), the eleventh edition of Gould’s Pocket Pronouncing Medical Dictionary (Philadelphia: The Blakiston Company, 1939) and Xylocaine: Chemistry-Pharmacology and Clinical Applications (Worcester, MA: Astra Pharmaceutical Co., c. 1950)—Xylocaine being the trade name for lidocaine. The Pocket Pronouncing Medical Dictionary has a flexible leatherette cover, while the other volumes are bound in cloth-covered boards.
