An original oil painting on board by 20th century American western genre painter Joe Beeler (1931 – 2006). The painting is a brilliant example of Beeler’s body of work, which often incorporates Native American imagery into expansive Western landscapes. This painting depicts two teepees dwarfed by a massive pointed mountain range. Soft pale pink and lavender light splashes across the top of the shadowy mountain range. The painting is signed in brown to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with cast surface embellishments, gold tone finish, and white linen lining.
