An original signed 1990 hand-drawn ink comic by contemporary American cartoonist Jim Borgman (1954-), best-known for his political cartoons, illustrations for the Cincinnati Enquirer, and the comic strip Zits. This comic is titled Debt Valley Days and was created for publication in the Cincinnati Enquirer. It depicts a decrepit man sitting in a hot, dry landscape fishing in a can labeled ‘Polls.’ The drawing is signed and dated to the upper left. It is matted in pale heather gray with black lining and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a hanging wire.
