Tiara Exclusives Black Amethyst Glass Vases and Planters Circa 1970
Item Details
A twenty-five piece assortment of black amethyst glass by Tiara Exclusives . The body was first produced in the depression era. The otherwise black appearing glass holds a secret when exposed to a light, a deep purple hue is revealed. The scarce examples were revived in the 1970’s by Tiara Exclusives an Indiana glass works selling via the home party method. The collection is composed of various patterns of vases, some with figural molding. A pair of candlestick holders accompanies the group.
