Antique Russian Imperial Brass Samovar

Item Details

An antique Russian Imperial brass samovar commissioned by I. E. Karadzhev. The item has a basin for hot water and a spout for dispensing. It also has a flared rim around the top where a pot can sit to keep warm from the steam and is accompanied by a chimney extension with handle. A cyrillic marking to the top lid reads ‘П З, И. Е. КАРАДЖЕВА’ (P Z, I. E. Karadzhev). The samovar also bears an award medallion stamp dated 1896.
