An oil painting on panel of a country road by E. Thomas. Signed by hand and dated ‘25’ to the lower left corner, the painting depicts a single road winding around a bend and surrounded by grass and trees all under a cloud filled sky. The painting is presented in a gold tone and black wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and a decal reading ‘Estelle L. Thomas? 1883-1969, Carnegie Inst. Penn Academy of Fine Arts’ are present to the verso.
