Item Details
A hand-colored lithograph published by Currier & Ives titled The Battle of the Wilderness, Va., May 5th & 6th 1864. The antique lithograph depicts the Union cavalry lead by General U.S. Grant during the battle on May 5th and 6th, 1864. The print is presented under glass and a gray mat; set in a moulded wood frame. This lithograph was displayed in The 1789 restaurant of Georgetown.
Condition
- drill holes to sides of frame; scratches to frame; foxing, creasing, and warping to paper.
