Egyptian Style Serigraph Prints on Papyrus.

Item Details

A pair of Egyptian style serigraphs on papyrus. The first of these works is headed ‘The Hieroglyphic Alphabet’, and had a table that pairs each letter with a hieroglyph. The second is a piece depicting a scene in which Egyptians hunt, fish, and harvest papyrus, and birds fly up into the sky. Hieroglyphic text is presented within the piece. Both pieces are presented as loose art.

Condition

- papyrus is becoming dry and brittle with some cracking at the edges occurring on both; significant wrinkling of media.
