An oil painting on canvas titled Ruffed Grouse from the Upland Series IV by well-listed artist Maynard Reece (b.1920), created in 1990. Depicted is a pair of grouse rendered in an autumnal forest. The painting is signed and dated to the lower left. Some handwriting to the verso reads ’Reece. The work is presented in a rustic textural wood frame with a white plaster liner.
