Attributed to George Shepherd Watercolor Painting on Paper
Item Details
An original watercolor painting, circa 1818, attributed to listed artist, George Shepherd (1784-1862). As depicted in the image, the frame features a title the verso, Rye House on the River, Hertfordshire, England. The painting was original rendered on laid paper that was later mounted to a sheet of wove with a hand-painted French boarder. The painting is presented behind mat, under glass, in a beveled gilt frame. Although this piece is not signed, it is the companion piece to item number 17DCC093-708.
Condition
Slight discoloration and foxing stains present.
