Vintage Milano Rotary Valve Trombone with Case
Item Details
A vintage Milano trombone. This Italian made brass instrument features three rotary valves and a two-piece angled design for marching band. The bell is stamped ‘Primaria Premitia Fabrica; F A.M. Bottali, Milano (Italia); O Pacini & Bro, New York,’ and the valve block is numbered 13 with a separate stamp which reads ‘Sistema Bottali Brevettato.’ A black hard case with a purple lining is included.
Condition
Tested- working condition; valves move freely but one is slow; tarnish throughout finish and minor dents to bell and tubing; one brace is missing; pad for water key is missing; damaged case has been repaired with tape at multiple points; mouthpiece not included
