An oil painting on canvas of a still life by artist J. Fermor. This realistically rendered painting depicts a central arrangement of fruit, including peaches, grapes, a pear and raspberries, which sit near an overturned wicker basket. Nearby is a goblet filled with liquid, and a blue and white glazed ceramic pitcher with a conical lid. This collection sits on draped cloth against a darkened background. To the lower edge of the painted table is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded palmette and acanthus leaf patterning to the surface and hanging wire to the verso.

- some edge wear to frame; frame is cracked to the upper left corner.
