Antique Full Size Walnut Bed Frame with Ornate Headboard

Item Details

An antique Victorian full size walnut bed frame with ornate headboard. The tall headboard features an ornate, pierced, multilayered pediment with a high arch. It has a pierced scroll under a fanned leaf, affixed above the top of the pediment. Underneath are burl panels between geometric and scrolled shapes, all over two large ovals. The low footboard is arched with matching recessed oval elements. The footboard legs are carved with matching floral patterns. The piece has a reddish-brown finish.
