A 19th-century oil painting on canvas in the manner of an Old Master original depicting the Madonna and Child. Portrayed with painterly brushstrokes and muted colors, this work features a veiled Virgin in a pink gown with the Christ Child in her arms. No signature was found on the work; the painting remains unframed.

Condition

- craquelure throughout; signs of in-painting scattered throughout; painting has been cut and relined with canvas; spots of paint loss and flaking scattered throughout, particularly present throughout edges and lower half of composition; a couple small punctures in canvas near lower edge of composition.
