A mixed media landscape painting on panel, appearing to use oil paint and pastel, titled Martenique, by an artist signing the work H. Charpentier. This piece depicts a tropical landscape lined with rolling green hills, a figure clad in red and white at the center. It is signed, titled, and dated ‘79’ to the lower right corner, and is double-matted under glass in a bamboo-motif frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.
