Vintage Gynecological Examination Table

Item Details

A vintage gynecological examination table. This table features a lifting back support to its top; rods or other means of support for this section are not attached. Opposite this back support, a sliding leaf pulls out from the end and stirrups are present. The body of the table is double-sided with a cabinet door, two half-size drawers, and four quarter-size drawers on either side. A square opening is present above the cabinet area; each door and drawer has a wooden knob pull. It rises on marlborough legs with applied bracket carvings.

Condition

- one cabinet door is split with prior repair; scratches and wear, especially to edges, throughout; missing supports for backrest; stirrups may not attach thoroughly.
