An oil painting on canvas of an abstract composition by listed American artist, Rita Leff (1907-1979). This serene image is rendered in a palette of blue, white, yellow and orange hues. It is signed by hand to the lower left corner. Affixed to the matting is a plate that reads ‘N.A.W.A. 1964’. The painting is matted in beige fabric and presented without glass in a wooden frame. To the verso is a paper backing, metal loops and a wire for hanging.
Condition
- wear throughout frame’s finish; discoloration and surface stains to fabric matting; loose frame joints; tears to paper backing; minor water damage to the paper backing.
