Antique Letter File Cabinet by Amberg

Item Details

An antique letter file cabinet by Amberg. The mixed wood, walnut-stained case features a rectangular, molded top above paneled sides and two columns of twelve drawers. The drawer fronts feature recessed, demilune cutouts to the centers flanked by brass tone fittings. Some of the interiors are marked ’Amberg’s Cabinet Letter File’ on a sheet of paper. The cabinet rises on a molded base.

Condition

- possibly missing pull hardware on all drawers; some drawers are missing brass tone fittings; nicks and scratches throughout; one side panel with heavier wear, including one large scratch approximately 4.5" in length; losses to molding; back with a few later boards for reinforcement.
