19th Century French Cut to Clear Perfume "Etui" in Egg Form

A 19th century French perfume etui in egg form. The cranberry cased cut to clear glass egg has a body decorated with olive cuts and opens by depressing the round leaf finial, allowing the hinged egg case to reveal two crystal perfume bottles in a gilt metal stand. Both bottles have hinged lids and their tiny crystal stoppers, the egg is mounted on an oval stone base with gilt metal mounts.

Condition

The egg sits slightly askew on the stand.
