An original 1989 ink cartoon illustration by listed Cincinnati Enquirer editorial cartoonist, Jim Borgman (born 1954), for the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper. The image depicts a caricature of President George Bush, Sr., on the phone saying, ‘What do you mean, ’he can’t find it’…’ while holding a newspaper with headlines reading, ‘Quayle to Lead America Back Into Space’.
Artist signature is signed and dated in ink to the upper left. This drawing is mounted under pale gray mat, behind glass in a beveled wood frame with a natural stained finish, equipped to hang.
