1916 Victor Talking Machine Victrola
Item Details
A 1916 Victrola, model VV-IX, by Victor Talking Machine Company of Camden, New Jersey. Features include a wooden casing with a hinged lid to the top and two doors to the front that open to reveal a record storage area. The lid is marked to the underside with a decorative Victrola decal, and the player includes a metal plate with the ‘His Master’s Voice’ logo, stamped with model number ‘VV-IX’ and serial number ‘260979G’. The Victrola comes with five early 20th century Edison disc records.
Condition
- surface wear, minor scratches and dust; tarnish to metal hardware and surface wear. Scratches to records and they are without covers. Player and records are untested.
