An Ethan Allen two-piece slant-front secretary desk with a cherry stain and mixed figured veneers. This piece is topped with a broken pediment and the upper case features two shelves set behind a wire-paneled door with a bonnet top. The lower case has a fold-down writing surface which opens to reveal an interior shelf and two cubbies below. Below, the case contains three stacked drawers with concave fronts and brass tone drop pulls. The piece rests upon bracket feet and is marked ‘Ethan Allen Made in Italy RN 48664’ to the back.
