Chinese Incised Ceramic Jar

Item Details

A Chinese deeply incised white jar. The diminutive vase features deeply incised floral motifs alongside a meander leiwen border. The entire piece is glazed in a lovely shade of cream. There is an affixed sticker on the underside attributing the piece to the Daoguang reign, however, the piece likely dates to the late 19th century or the Republic period (1912-1949). Otherwise unmarked.
