An offset lithograph on paper after a 1937 drawing titled Estudio para el caballo. Dibujo preparatorio para ‘Guernica’ (Study for the Horse. Preliminary Drawing for ‘Guernica’) by Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973), now in the permanent collection of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, in Madrid. This depicts an abstracted horse, mouth open in anguish. This work is presented with a black mat, under glass in a black wood frame, with a sawtooth bracket attached on verso.

Condition

- scuffs on the left edge of the frame.
