A hand-knotted fine Persian Nahavand area rug. The plush pile wool and cotton rug features a center medallion, three borders, and pictorial motifs in a fanciful palette of red, burnt orange, ivory, charcoal, mauve, goldenrod and more. It has natural cotton warp fringe to one side and is unmarked.
