1975 Hebrew-English Siddur With Stand

A 1975 Hebrew-English siddur, or Jewish prayer book. This metal-bound book was published by Sinai Publishing House in Israel and is decorated to the exterior with faux turquoise beads. The cover depicts a crown and the Ten Commandments and the back depicts a menorah; both the front and back are bordered by the symbols of the Twelve Tribes of Israel and are inscribed ‘כי מציון חצא תורה’, that is, ‘for out of Zion shall go forth the Law’. Also included is a metal stand topped with the Star of David and embellished with enameled accents in shades of blue, purple, yellow, and red. The stand is marked ‘Made in Israel’ to the underside.
