Mixed Metal Vase with Brown Wash and Embossed Bird Scene

Item Details

A Chinese mixed metal vase with a brown wash and an embossed bird scene. The vase has a tapered shape and features a fluted mouth and rounded body. Other features include a display of embossed brass tone bird and floral designs and decorative carved Chinese calligraphy to the back side. The underside is stamped with a Qianlong reign mark, however, the piece was likely produced during the Republic period (1912-1949).
