A signed etching with etching with aquatint on paper titled Le Chaperon Rouge by listed French artist Louis Icart (1888-1950). This color intaglio print depicts the fairy tale character Little Red Riding Hood carrying a basket through a dark forest. The work is signed in graphite in the lower right margin. It is presented loose, unframed and unmatted.

Condition

toning uneven from previous mattes, two 1" tears to left edge of paper to margin, small tears and folds to uncut edges
