Circa 1939 Hamilton Otis 14K "Reverso" Gold Filled Tank Watch
Item Details
A rare circa 1939 gold filled Hamilton Otis Reverso tank wristwatch with a ‘flip’ face that reverses to a gold cover, designed to protect the crystal when worn by polo players. The Otis Reverso watch was only made by the Hamilton Watch Co. for three years until production was halted due to being sued by LeCoultre for patent infringements. The watch has a black face with blocky Arabic numerals, a seconds sub dial at the six position and an extra long black crocodile embossed leather band. The gold back side of the face has not been monogrammed making this watch especially coveted.
