An original alla prima oil painting on canvas of a European harbor scene by listed French artist Albert Grifon (20th century). The image depicts a wide, vast harbor backed by distant mountains. In the foreground, a cluster of fishing boats consult one another on the rippling blue water, creating wild, colorful reflections. Artist signature is signed in paint to the lower right. This work is mounted behind a linen liner in a wood frame with a dark veneer and cast interior border, equipped to hang.
