Nepalese Hand-Stitched Appliqué and Embroidery Wall Hanging

A fully hand-stitched Nepalese wall hanging. This type of hanging may be used over an altar or for decoration. This piece hangs from a top strip of patched floral-printed fabrics and squares of appliqué designs with pink and green embroidery details. Four strips hang down vertically, with striped areas of fabric and attached ribbon. The central areas continue the detailed geometric appliqué designs with embroidered squares. Each piece has has a pink fringe with colored beads. They are lined on the back with a floral printed fabric. It is unmarked.
