Hand-Crafted Trestle Table and Five Windsor-Style Chairs

A farm-style dining table and five chairs. This handmade trestle table by Schroeders of Lebanon, Ohio, is well-crafted using heirloom-quality woodworking methods. This perfectly-preserved table features a hand-planed top with tongue and groove joinery and breadboard heads, a plain apron with mortise and tenon joints, block and turned legs, and a low H-stretcher. It is constructed of solid wood with a hand-rubbed cherry finish. Seating is provided by five Windsor-style side chairs. Four matching Windsor-style loop-back chairs made by D. R. Dimes, feature nine round splats, shaped seats, and turned legs. A single Windsor-style fan-back chair features a spindle backrest backed by two diagonal braces, a shaped seat, and similarly turned legs and stretchers. Tie-back seat pads in a navy and white check are included.

Condition

– no scratches noted to the table. Chairs are in good condition with only minor marks, particularly to the legs.

Dimensions

– measured of the table. The chairs measure 21" wide x 38.75" high x 21.5" deep with a seat height of approximately 17".
