A handwoven Persian Khorasan Baluch area rug. This tribal wool rug features a lattice pattern of ten diamond medallions with sawtooth edges over a red field. The field is enclosed by compound borders, which include a sawtooth pattern in black. The palette is red, black, and cream. Selvedges are overcast; ends finish with wool warp fringe. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
