A 1935 first trade edition of T.E. Lawrence’s memoir Seven Pillars of Wisdom. The work is an autobiographical account of ‘Lawrence of Arabia’’s activities as the British liaison with the forces of the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire during the First World War. It is illustrated with black-and-white photographs and drawings including fold-out maps. Published by Jonathan Cape of London, in hardcover, retaining its original dust jacket with an outer plastic sleeve.
