An assortment of vintage Barnum and Bailey circus posters. This assortment of mid-century offset lithograph prints includes posters depicting a tiger riding an elephant, monkeys racing on Shetland ponies, an ‘army’ of fifty clowns, a two-horned rhinoceros attacking a hippopotamus, Europe’s greatest lady equestrians, and The Peerless Prodigies of Physical Phenomena and Great Presentation of Marvelous Living Human Curiosities. Each of the prints is presented loose, without mat or frame.
Condition
-toning to posters; general wear to edges and corners; several have small tears and creases at edges.
