Hand Thrown Stoneware Raku Fired Vase

Item Details

A hand thrown stoneware raku fired vase from Earth Fire. It has a rounded shape with a rolled and flared rim, with an incised pattern of galloping horses to the exterior. The horses are surrounded by a mottled blue green semi-matte glaze, being raku fired and showing bright iridescent copper flashing. The horses are glazed in a white crackle raku glaze. The vase is decorated with a seed bead bangle around the rim, and comes with a small tag from the pottery. It is signed in gold ink to the underside.
