Oil Painting on Canvas of a Blacksmith Workshop Before a City
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas. This depicts two 19th century women, one holding an infant, outside the openwork door of a slightly dilapidated blacksmith workshop. A city spreads into the distance. This work is signed in red paint in the lower left what appears to read ‘Bromsky S’ and the back is marked ‘Bronsky’, however no clear artist attribution could be made. It presented in a carved wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

- some surface scratches to the painting; surface wear to the frame.
