An original oil on canvas titled Blackware C. 1891-1930 by Patricia Dobson (born 1947). The painting depicts a still life of three antique American Indian blackware vessels with two dried ears of red corn. The work is signed Patricia Dobson and dated 1997 to the lower right. The piece is presented in a gold-tone wooden frame with a plaque to its front which reads ‘Blackware c. 1891-1930 Patricia Dobson’. The piece is also titled to its verso, finished with wire for hanging.
