Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a rural mill scene by H. King. Signed by the artist to the lower left corner. Housed in a gold-tone wood frame with a deep cove. To the verso is a descriptive label and an inscription reading, ‘H. King ca. 1890’.
Condition
- minor wear to the frame including missing areas of gesso; over painting on the canvas including a dime-sized area to the lower right corner and a large portion above the church in the left area of the canvas, the signature is clean.
