An Indonesian hand-painted ‘Toad-Stool’, with a matching wooden figurine of a winged frog. The stool features a round seat with the carved and painted head of a toad (or frog), with wide, expressive eyes. The animal stands atop four long, straight legs, and is hand-painted overall in green, with a variety of white markings and black spots. The matching figurine is of a winged frog (or toad), with a similarly optimistic face and dressed in a fine black tuxedo with a red cummerbund. Both pieces sport tags of origin and stickers that read ‘Made in Indonesia.’
