A limited reissue edition Stickley Arts and Crafts Columbus Avenue quarter sawn white oak sideboard. The original sideboard was designed by Gustav Stickley for his own home located in Syracuse, New York, which was a showplace of his Arts and Crafts furniture. The original sideboard was purchased for $363,000 at auction in 1988, a record price for a 20th century American made piece of furniture. The sideboard has a straight back apron, eight drawer to the center with cast copper pulls, two doors to each side with tapered cast copper hinges and open paneled chamfered shelves to each end. One drawer is lined in a tarnish proof silver cloth with a cloth cover. The sideboard is marked to the inside drawer.
