Felix Fabian Oil Painting on Canvas "Flowers"
Item Details
A oil painting on canvas titled Flowers by Felix Fabian (1913 – 1979), dated 1969. Signed by hand to the lower right corner, this painting with heavy impasto depicts a vase filled with pink and yellow flowers. The piece is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a beige linen liner, gold tone fillet and a gold tone plaque with the artist name to the lower middle. A twine for hanging purposes and a handwritten note with the title, artist name, and date are present to the verso for the canvas.
Condition
- wear to the frame and the paint on the frame; discoloration to the linen lining on the frame; canvas is beginning to come away from the verso of the frame.
