Antique Ansonia Cast Iron Mantel Clock from Laurel Court

Item Details

An antique Ansonia cast iron mantel clock from historic Laurel Court in College Hill, a National Historic Register building. The clock has a Neoclassic form with square pilaster corner decorated with incised gilded flowers and leaves and red orange faux marble bases. The clock surround and angled base are similarly decorated. The clock has an off white porcelain face with black Roman numerals, black hand, and brass bezel. The clock’s key is included.
