A Pope Paul VI commemorative copper medal. This medal issued in 1963, the first year of the pontificate of Pope Paul VI features an image of the pope and ‘Paulus VI Pontifex maximus anno I’ to the obverse with the papal emblem and ‘corona aurea super caput eius’ and the year 1963 in Roman numerals to the reverse. The medal is presented in a red leather case and is made completely of copper.
