Vintage Philco Automatic Control Radio Clock Timer

Item Details

A circa 1930s Philco automatic control radio clock timer. As a radio clock timer, this piece could be attached to a radio in order to turn the radio on at specifically selected time. This clock features a square mahogany stained wooden front with a yellow face and silver tone numerical markers. The clock face is under glass and is framed by silver tone metal minute markers. The back of the clock is encased in a black painted metal. A label reads ‘Philco Automatic Control Clock…’ and it is model number 8B56.

Condition

- Clock is tested and in working condition. Timer component is untested. Scratches and chips to casing. Some yellowing of face. Losses to red paint.
