A Thomas Organ Company electronic organ, model 2001-A5 and serial number 2478762; it has been suggested that the model number and modern cabinet design is a reference to director Stanley Kubrick’s film 2001: Space Odyssey. Features include illuminated key letter notes and a matching bench. Thomas Organ & Piano Company was founded in Ontario in 1875. By the 1950s they had invented the electronic organ with a single manual and ten stops.
