An oil painting on canvas by Australian-American artist Warik Wheatley (1928-1996). This piece is painted in an impasto and depicts a bouquet of purple irises in a glass fishbowl vase. The painting is signed to the lower left and dated ‘’67’. Affixed to the verso is a short bio of the artist. The piece is presented in a thin gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.
